Steam Free Games: Play PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS for FREE!

Next year, PUBG, one of the first and most popular battle royale games, will be available for free. Krafton revealed that PUBG will shift to a free-to-play model at The Game Awards on January 12, 2022. Both the PC and console versions of the game are affected by the update.

PUBG has been a paid game since its release in 2017, with a current price of $30. Following PUBG's free-to-play business model next year, the game will be on par with other popular battle royale games like Apex Legends and Call of Duty: Warzone. Player must either purchase the game or pay for Battlegrounds Plus for certain of PUBG's features, such as Ranked Mode
