2K Sports has unveiled the cover athletes and editions for NBA 2K25, featuring a mix of NBA and WNBA stars for the first time. Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics graces the Standard Edition cover, while he shares the All-Star Edition cover with A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces. Wilson also features on the WNBA Edition cover. NBA legend Vince Carter is the cover athlete for the Hall of Fame Edition.
